Course Description

This awareness course provides participants with a clear understanding of the hazards and risks associated with working in confined spaces. It introduces the legal framework governing confined space entry and outlines the precautions, safe systems of work, and essential control measures required to protect those undertaking this type of work.

Learners will explore the key hazards commonly found in confined spaces, how to recognise unsafe conditions, and the correct procedures to follow before, during, and after entry. The course includes ongoing knowledge checks, with learners’ understanding monitored through responses to questions throughout the session, followed by a short verbal assessment.
