General Safety Awareness

Course Description

This course provides a solid introduction to the key health and safety responsibilities placed on both organisations and individuals. It is designed to help participants understand the relevance of health and safety law, alongside the fundamental principles that support safe working environments.

Learners will explore a broad range of essential topics, including personal protective equipment (PPE), workplace noise, COSHH, vibration risks, safe use of plant and equipment, health and hygiene, housekeeping standards, and the importance of safety signs and signals. The course also addresses public safety considerations and basic environmental responsibilities.

By the end of the session, participants will have a clear awareness of common workplace hazards and the practical measures required to reduce risk and promote a positive safety culture.
