As an UKATA-approved training centre, we offer UKATA Licensed Asbestos Contract Manager Refresher Training in Maidstone, Kent. This one-day course is for those who have passed their Asbestos Removal New Manager Training or refresher course within the last 12 months.

This refresher training ensures that candidates can continue to safely and effectively work as asbestos removal managers, acting in a leadership role within the field of asbestos removal, aware of any changes in regulations, best practices and new techniques whilst reaffirming information concerning health hazards and general site procedures.

In order to keep your knowledge up to date, UKATA advises that the appropriate asbestos removal refresher course is taken every year.

Weekday courses commence at 8.30am.

Our UKATA Licensed Asbestos Contract Manager Refresher Training is for candidates who have passed their UKATA Licensed Asbestos Contract Manager Training or refresher course within the last 12 months. It enables candidates to stay up to date on the latest UKATA guidance regarding best practices and safety precautions.

Candidates will be required to provide evidence of their previous training certification.

We also offer refresher courses for non-licensed asbestos removal and asbestos removal operatives and supervisors.

Our UKATA Licensed Asbestos Contract Manager Refresher Training follows the official UKATA syllabus, which means you will:

  • Fulfil identified training needs
  • Receive new information, e.g., changes in health and safety or asbestos removal legislation and work practices (such as the use of new equipment or wetting techniques)
  • Be reminded of the hazards of asbestos and the risks faced while working with asbestos.
  • Reinforce procedures such as the use of hygiene facilities, use and maintenance of RPE / PPE and how to use controlled removal techniques.

UKATA Licensed Asbestos Contract Manager Refresher assessment.

After passing the UKATA Licensed Asbestos Contract Manager Refresher Training, candidates will receive a UKATA certificate allowing them to work safely as an asbestos removal manager for 12 months from the date of issue. Delegates can validate their certificate using UKATA’s online validation tool.

The UKATA Licensed Asbestos Contract Manager Refresher Training qualification is renewable every 12 months. To ensure you are qualified and safe to work with asbestos-containing materials, a further refresher course should be completed within a year.
