It covers areas such as preparing sites, using demolition tools and machinery, handling materials, following safety procedures, and working in line with industry regulations. Completing this diploma shows that the learner is competent to carry out demolition tasks responsibly and to a professional standard within the construction and refurbishment sector.

Once candidates have achieved the qualification, they can apply for a blue CCDO Demolition and Refurbishment Operative card.
